Newcastle United is hosting Manchester City on Sunday. City sits in second place, just one point behind league-leading Arsenal while United sits in eighth place. Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini knows they’ll have a tough match on their hands.
“Of course it will be a real fight,” Pellegrini said, via Sky Sports. “Newcastle in the last two games have lost, but when they lost against Arsenal one or two weeks ago they were playing very well and they were fighting for the first position in the table.
“In the FA Cup they lost at home against Cardiff but I am sure that playing at home they will be a very difficult team.”
With a win on Sunday, Manchester City would move to the top of the table at least temporarily.
