Tottenham’s newly appointed manager Tim Sherwood secured his first win against Southampton at the weekend and looks confident to get Spurs’ hopes of finishing in a Champions League place back on track.
Sherwood will be particularly pleased with his decision to start Togo international, Emmanuel Adebayor, who seemed to have been forgotten about under Andre Villa-Boas. The striker will be hoping for just his second start this season, after his double on Sunday.
Meanwhile, West Brom find themselves in a similar situation, after manager Steve Clarke was shown the door and his assistant takes over. The Baggies will be looking to upset the Tottenham camp, who have suffered two heavy defeats to Manchester City and Liverpool.
